Drivers of the professional accountants’ satisfaction in Tunisian context

Abstract

This study examines the drivers of job satisfaction of the professional accountants who work in public accounting firms. 240 professionals participated in this study. The data were collected through a questionnaire survey. The results showed that intrinsic and extrinsic factors have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, excepting recognition, which has a positive but no significant effect.
