The factors affecting to self discipline of high school students in Nakhonsithammarat, Thailand.

Abstract


The purposes of this research were; to study level of self discipline of high school students in Nakhonsithammarat, Thailand and to study factors affecting to self discipline. The research sample consisted of 450 high school students in Nakhonsithammarat, Thailand in the first semester of the academic year 2015. They were selected by Multi-Stage Random Sampling. The instruments used in this research was a questionnaire on factors affecting to self discipline. The data were analyzed by using the Mean, Standard Deviation, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this research were; 1) level of self discipline at the highest level which had the Mean at 4.55 and Standard Deviation at 0.59 and 2) Relationships between students and teacher,  Relationships between students and friends, behavior of the teachers, and parental practice had affecting to self discipline with the statistically significant level at .01.
