ABSTRACT

The research based on fact that the Darul Ma’rifat Modern Islamic Boarding School had students which coming from many places in Indonesia and around the world. I.e. Kuwait, Thailand, Australia, Canada United States of America etc. The cultural-Islamic diversity in Darul Ma’rifat Modern Islamic Boarding School had been exist as consequence. The research used quantitative research methods. The Research location at Darul Ma’rifat Islamic Boarding School, Kediri, East Java.  The population of the study was all of the students (1227 pupils). But, only 302 pupils involved in the study. The data had been collected by using psychological scale and interviews. The data analyzed by statstucal models: pearson correlation. The result : (1) The mean average of the idea about cultutal-Islamic diversity of the students categories high.(2) The mean avergae of the idea about nationalism of the students categories high. (3) There were correlation between the idea of cultural-Islamic diversity and nationalism.  The students aware about the cultural-Islamic diversity, then it made them strength in harmony and peaceful thinking, through many kinds of activities.
