Determining The Mediating Role of Self-efficacy and Hope Variables in Relations Between Talent Levels and Social Emotional Learning of Primary School Students

Abstract


The aim of the study is to determine the mediating role of self-efficacy and emotional learning in the relationship between the scores of individuals who receive TKT and social emotional learning. In addition to this the relationship between TKT scores and adjustment and self-efficacy has also been investigated. As a sample, a total of 281 students, 160 female and 121 male students attending the 4th grade, were selected. TKT was firsty applied as a data collection tool and then social emotional learning, self-efficacy and adjustment scales were completed by the students. As a result of the analyzes, positive correlation and significant correlation were found among all variables; In the relationship between TKT and social emotional learning, the role of partial mediation of self-efficacy and adjustment has been determined. It is believed that this study can contribute to the study of talented students in schools.
